COMPARATIVE LAW STUDY ON HOMELESSNESS LEGISLATION
The Fernando Pombo Foundation, in March 2020 as a result of the crisis caused by COVID-19, we detected the need to perform a comparative study in relation to homelessness. Therefore, we decided to create this joint project in order to make a comparative legislation based on a series of similar questions made in different countries and to analyse the reached answers.
Thereby, this project consists of a joint comparative study between different jurisdictions, based on issues that the Fernando Pombo Foundation and a representative social entity have agreed upon, regarding the homeless population, a collective with whom this social entity operates.
The pro bono team responsible for performing this research was integrated by pro bono volunteer lawyers from the following law firms: Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, Hawkins Parnell & Young, King & Spalding, LexisNexis - Legal & Professional, Meyerlustenberger Lachenal and Stibbe.
